What are your fabric options and how should I wash them?
We use pigmented, eco-friendly, water-based inks that contain no harsh chemicals. We are also OEKO-TEX certified.
Washing Instructions
100% Cotton woven
Wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Cotton fabrics may shrink slightly if dried on higher heat.
Double brushed poly spandex
Wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Avoid high heat, bleach, and fabric softener.
Cotton/Lycra
Wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Avoid high heat to help preserve stretch and reduce shrinkage.
Cotton/Lycra French terry
Wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Avoid high heat to help preserve stretch and reduce shrinkage.
Swimsuit
Wash cold with like colors using mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry low. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and high heat.
Durable water resistant boardshort
Wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Air dry or tumble dry low. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and high heat to help preserve performance and water resistance.
Bullet
Wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Avoid high heat, bleach, and fabric softener.
Bamboo
Wash cold with like colors on a gentle or delicate cycle. Line dry or tumble dry low. Avoid bleach and fabric softener.
Fleece lined poly/spandex
Wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Avoid high heat, bleach, and fabric softener.
100% Cotton canvas
Wash cold with like colors. Air dry or tumble dry with no heat or very low heat to help minimize shrinkage.
General care note
For best results, wash in cold water with like colors and avoid high heat.

Is there a minimum/maximum amount of yards I can order on the website?
Yes, you may order 1-19 yards total through the website. If you would like to order more than 19 yards, please contact Melinda on Facebook so she can calculate your unique shipping cost.
What are my payment options?
You can pay securely through PayPal. When you are ready to pay for the items in your cart, the Purpleseamstress website will direct you to Melinda’s PayPal account.

Where do I enter a coupon code?
